OUR VISION
Global Impact Church
- TRUE WORD AND WORSHIP: We shall lead this local expression of the body of Christ into the true worship of the Father in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24) both by anointed teaching of the whole counsel of God in Scripture (Acts 20:27) and by leading the church in anointed singing in which God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Anointed praise and worship is the key for the body of Christ to be the true “habitation of God through the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:22) which brings more anointing into all of our lives.
- TRUE PRAYER: The Senior Pastor and Elders shall lead by example in giving themselves to the word of God and prayer (Acts 6:4) just as the first century apostles did so that the Church of the living God will be led by the Spirit of God in all things (Romans 8:14). Since there is no way to continually remain “filled with faith and of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 6:5) without continually giving oneself to God in intimate prayer (Acts 2:42), the leadership of this local expression of the body of Christ shall endeavor to continually remain filled with the Holy Spirit in order to strengthen the entire church for victorious Christian living. Every member is encouraged to follow Jesus in being a prayer warrior and intercessor for others (1 Tim. 2:1).
- TRUE DISCIPLESHIP: We endeavor to build a community of true Christian believers who will become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by continuing “steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). Receiving sound doctrinal teachings from the word of God, spending time in fellowship with the brethren, eating with the brethren, and praying on a regular basis are four paramount things all true Christians must do on a regular basis in order to become true followers of Jesus Christ.
- TRUE UNITY AND LOVE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST: We endeavor to build a community of true Christians who will always obey God’s command to “love one another” (John 13:34), to “lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16), and to “keep the unity of the faith in the bond of peace” with all true Apostolic Faith Christians in this local expression of the body of Christ and among all true Christians throughout the world. For all men shall know that we are Christ’s true disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35).
- TRUE KNOWLEDGE SHARED IN LOVE: We shall edify and build up the body of Christ by always “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15) rather than speaking truth in a mean or unloving spirit. We will always use our knowledge of the word of God to speak the truth in love rather than speaking truth with the wrong spirit of anger towards those we are supposed to love. For our Lord Jesus has commanded us to not only love our brothers and sisters in Christ, he also commanded to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44).
- TRUE LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE: The Leadership of Global Impact Church will always endeavor to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ so that we can honestly say the same thing that the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 11:1, “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” We will not only lead by sharing the whole counsel of God in teaching (Acts 20:27); we will also lead the church of the living God by our exemplary Christian lives which must always be rooted in love by the fruit of the indwelling Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22). For a farmer cannot teach others how to grow and harvest a good crop without first growing his own bountiful harvest (2 Timothy 2:6).
- TRUE SOUL WINNING AND TRUE DISCIPLESHIP MAKING: We shall build a strong Christian Community of disciples who are fully equipped for the work of the ministry in order to fulfill the Great Commission to share the true gospel with everyone and then to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) out of those who have been “born again” (John 3:3-5) by training them through our own exemplary Christian conduct (1 Timothy 4:12).
- TRUE MODESTY AND TRUE PERSONAL CONVICTIONS: While we will periodically teach what the scriptures have to say about modesty (1 Timothy 2:9) in dress and long hair being a covering for women (1 Corinthians 11:5-15), we will never force anyone to obey discipleship issues because God’s people usually need time to change by receiving personal conviction from God through the Spirit rather than having things being forced down their throats. When God’s people become very prayerful and intimately know their Lord they will always receive convictions from the Spirit of God on their own. For the anointed which we have received by the Spirit teaches us all things (1 John 2:27).“The anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But just as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, you shall abide in Him.” 1 John 2:27
- TRUE OBEDIENCE TO THE GREAT COMMISSION: “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation (Mark 16:15).” We shall truly obey the great commission by sending out daughter works into other nearby cities, towns, and communities. We shall further labor to send out ministers and Christian workers throughout the United States and the world. This local Church as a true expression of the body of Christ shall unselfishly send out daughter works from those who have become true disciples in this local church. We shall constantly pray for the development of leaders and Christian workers to be trained and equipped to go out into other cities, communities, and into foreign nations to share the true gospel of Jesus throughout the world.
- TRUE LOVE TO THE WHOLE BODY OF CHRIST: We shall endeavor to love every single brother and sister in Christ regardless of their flaws or failures. We shall practice the scriptural commands to forgive each other and to love each other not just seven times, but 70 x 7 (Matthew 18:22). We shall never seek to destroy those who are wounded among us by publicly embarrassing them or harshly rebuking them in such a way that they never want to come back into the church (Matthew 7:12). All church discipline will be performed in a compassionate, loving, and remedial nature which seeks to restore those who have sinned rather than hurting them for life. We shall further extend this loving attitude towards the entire Universal Body of Christ so that all will know that we are His true disciples (John 13:35). We shall also obey our Lord’s command to love our enemies (Luke 6:35). For if we lack love for each other, how can we ever begin to love our enemies?
